Datsun India has updated
its Go hatchback and Go+ MPV with more safety kit (labelled Vehicle Dynamic
Control (VDC) by Datsun), a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity) and a new Vivid Blue exterior paint
for the hatchback. The safety kit and touchscreen infotainment are now standard
across all variants of both cars; this also makes them the first models in
their respective segments to get these features. While the Datsun Go was
already one of the most affordable cars with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,
the touchscreen infotainment system was only available on the top-spec T and T
(O) variants.
The lower trims of the Go
and Go+ previously did not come with an audio system at all. The Vehicle
Dynamic Control, or VDC, safety technology monitors various parameters of the
car (like wheel speed, steering wheel position and lateral acceleration) using
onboard sensors, and uses the information to provide Electronic Stability
Control (ESC). In other words, all variants of the Go hatchback and Go+ MPV now
get traction control and ESC as standard, along with two airbags, ABS with EBD
and brake assist,

which had been added to
the range with the facelifts in October 2018. Mechanically, both cars continue
to be powered by the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68hp
and 104Nm of torque. This motor is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
This is although seen in so many cars already before, but the good thing Is for
the people who are looking forward to go with Datsun go, as this advancement is
going to bring more mobility into the lives of the people and with that too
this makes sure that people were expecting
this change and this will
be the sole reason to bring such a major advancement. The company has taken the
competition very seriously and is looking forward to come up with so many new
things which any one would be expecting. This also brings us to the thought
that the technology is growing with such a pace that nothing seems impossible and
all the things which we used to think about are now becoming a reality.
