Tata Tiago NRG facelift launch on August 4

Tata Motors is all set to expand the Tiago line-up with the launch of the Tiago NRG facelift in India on August 4, 2021. The Tata Tiago NRG was on sale in the country between 2018 and 2020. However, it was discontinued following the introduction of the Tata Tiago facelift in January 2020.

Although the Tata Tiago NRG facelift will share a lot of features with the Tiago facelift like the grille and headlamps, it will have additional equipment like muscular bumpers, faux skid plates, body cladding and roof rails to give it a more rugged look. The tailgate is expected to have black cladding with NRG badge. There might be a fresh set of alloy wheels as well.

Inside the cabin, the Tiago NRG facelift is expected to get the features like touchscreen infotainment compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully automatic temperature control, digital instrument panel, multifunction steering wheel, height-adjustable driver seat and cooled glovebox. Among the safety features will be dual airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control, rear parking assist camera, over-speed alert, and driver and passenger seatbelt reminder.

The Tata Tiago NRG facelift will employ the same Revotron 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that does duty in the Tiago facelift. The engine produces 86PS of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque. It can be paired either with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. We are expecting the Tiago NRG facelift to have both transmission options.

The Tiago NRG facelift price in India is expected to start from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
