Mahindra BE.07 design patents display styling akin to concepts.

Based on the INGLO platform, Mahindra's new line of born EVs is presently undergoing development; design patents indicate how close the first three models are to going into production. The BE.05 will be the first model in this series of EV SUVs, while the larger BE.07 will be the second.

2.Anticipated to rank higher than models like the Creta EV and eVX

3.anticipated to debut in April 2026

Interior and design of Mahindra BE.07

Mahindra has adhered faithfully to the BE.07 idea, which was initially presented on August 15, 2022, as evidenced by the design patents. In contrast to the more aggressive-appearing BE.05, the production-spec BE.07 will feature a more classic SUV appearance with fewer creases and lines and an upright stance. The headlights and taillights of the larger SUV (4.6m versus 4.3m) are C-shaped, but they are less angular than those of the smaller BE EV SUV.

Given that the concept has dimensions of 4,565 mm by 1,900 mm by 1,660 mm and a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, the production BE.07 would sit above vehicles such as the Maruti eVX, Hyundai Creta EV, and the soon-to-be Tata Curvv EV.

The BE.07's interior is not visible in the patent photos, although Mahindra had given a sneak peek at the cabin when the idea was first unveiled. There is a sizable panoramic sunroof, a massive screen that appears to be separated into three sections, and a noticeable lack of physical buttons; Mahindra appears to be moving towards touch and haptic input.

Mahindra BE.07 battery and range

Mahindra's BE family of electric vehicle SUVs, all of which are supported by the INGLO platform, are anticipated to be powered by battery packs that vary from 60 to 80 kWh and with stated ranges of 435 to 450 km (WLTP), though it is unknown which one would power the BE.07.There may be both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive models available. The electric motors' outputs range from 231-286 horsepower for the RWD BE.07 to 340-394 horsepower for the AWD type.

Stay tuned for more information once the Mahindra BE.07 launches in April 2026.
